Wayne Kitchen is the owner of Heritage Investments and the Principal Mortgage Broker. Over the decades, he has earned a reputation as being a trusted, savvy, and prudent businessman. From helping first time home buyers realize their home ownership potential to assisting investor clients with building their financial portfolios, Wayne is dedicated to finding the best mortgage/ investment solution. Wayne has over 50 years of mortgage, investment, appraisal, and real estate experience in the Muskoka – Parry Sound region. There isn’t a lake, road, or river in the Muskoka region that Wayne Kitchen is not familiar. His expertise in the mortgage industry is based on several key factors that separate Heritage from the competition. Most importantly, Wayne provides prompt service in a priority manner, and expedited answers to your borrowing requirements.
Wayne is also a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, and the most experienced appraiser in Muskoka. He enjoys passing on his wisdom to young candidate appraisers. Kimberly Wahl
Office Financial Administrator
Kimberly Wahl has been married for over 35 years to Bob Wahl and they have made Muskoka their home for over 25 years. Together they have raised 3 sons and 4 daughters. They now have 5 married children and 8 grandchildren. Kimberly spent many years homeschooling their children. She also spent many years pouring into the camping ministry where she gained administrative and accounting skills. She enjoyed programming and coordinating events for groups and summer camps. Together with her husband they joined friends to help establish YWAM Muskoka in 2013, where they continue as support staff.
Kimberly has a passion for helping to bring new life into the world and is a trained doula. She has had the joy of being doula for the birth of 4 of her own grandchildren in her home. She has also enjoyed taking in other ‘daughters and sons’ over the years to help them through school and to cheer them on in life. Many others affectionately call her ‘mom’ from near and far.
In Spring of 2023 her youngest daughter graduated from High School and Kimberly felt it was time to begin a new chapter. That is when she became part of the team here at Heritage Investments. She looks forward to embracing this season well into the future.
Mark Jurgeneit
Broker
Mark Jurgeneit began his involvement with Heritage Investments over 25 years ago. During this time, he has been on both the borrower side and the lender side of the business. Currently he is using his talents and experience from education (teaching and coaching at BMLSS), construction (planning, design, and building), real estate agent (representing both buyers and sellers) and finance (co-manager for a Mortgage Investment Corporation) to serve clients in the Muskoka region. Additionally, Mark directs the family run commercial and industrial real estate investment business.
Mark invested 10 years as a volunteer with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) training and teaching youth and doing consulting in the South Pacific. Mark and his wife Jerrilyn enjoy living in Bracebridge and are actively involved in helping young people to develop their body, soul, and spirit, making them elevated achievers. They have two boys. Ethan is attending Trinity Western University studying business and playing rugby, with aspirations to soon play professional rugby. Aiden is also a realtor with Keller Williams and helps to run YWAM Muskoka. He also uses his construction experience to develop residential real estate projects.
Using the encompassing experience Mark has gained at the local and international level, he is here to help walk you through the challenging private mortgage world.
